Encyclopedia entry: This tiger whammy is a growing child of its species, and is already agile and able to get into just about anything. Though they make adorable pets as babies, as they grow they can become difficult to keep as pets.
In the wild, a baby whammy is cared for closely by its mother and the rest of its tribe. A whammy learns survival and other skills from its elders as he grows up. The members of the tribe depend heavily on each other to survive.
The tiger whammy is a Peterran species believed to be closely related to the dotted whammy. It eats mainly nuts, fruits, seeds and small to medium size prey. It also frequently scavenges from kills made by other creatures. Tiger whammies are named for their striped markings, and their disposition is actually friendly and sweet, much like that of dotted whammies. These peaceful creatures cooperate and get along with each other very well, which allows them to work effectively as a group.
The tiger whammy is part of a family of whammies informally called meso-whammies. They are larger than lesser whammies, have prominent manes on the male, and usually a lean, muscular build like most greater whammies. Their growth rate is closer to that of lesser whammies, though.
